Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Students
Acknowledgement of Country
St Gregory's Primary School recognises the traditional owners of the land upon which the school resides, and pays its respects to its leaders past and present. St Gregory's honours the Elders past and present who have laid the foundations for self-determination and rights for Aboriginal Peoples. Our school commits to working with local Indigenous leaders towards reconciliation.
St Gregory's Primary School has an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Education worker, Sharon Jolley and a staff member, Kiralee Nolan who work together to support our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students. They also work to implement different programs and cultural events to help develop greater awareness and understanding of Aboriginal culture across the school.
